NZTA Research report 467 National travel profiles published

10 January 2012

This research report was produced by Abley on behalf of NZTA. The report utilises data held within the New Zealand Household Travel Survey (NZHTS), in order to examine changes in travel behaviour between 2003 and 2010. It sought to determine whether travel behaviours such as journey times, mode choice, trip complexity and trip generation rates differed by area type and region. A key aim of the research was to unlock further value from the data for the benefit of transport planners and engineers. The full research report can be downloaded here and the interactive spreadsheets interrogated here.
